Louisville Science Center

We have been enjoying temps in the 70's, but this weekend cooled down and was rainy so we decided to take a trip to the Louisville Science Center. We went out for breakfast and spent the day in Louisville. We watched the "Wild Ocean" in the Imax theatre. Madi thought that was pretty cool, but fell asleep the last 20 minutes. We had been playing pretty hard!

Stopping for a quick snack.

Playing in the space ship.

Looking at the bubbles through the scope. Well trying to look at bubbles through the scope. I couldn't get her to close one eye.

Taking a drive with dad.

Building a bridge.

Flying an airplane.

Driving the school bus.

Posing in the spaceship.

More Building

Taking a ride to see the stratosphere.

Stopping for a quick view of the Ohio River.

New Paint

Aunt Jo and Uncle Chris sent Madisyn some new paints for her birthday. She painted all weekend long. I told her we needed to take a picture of her in the apron that came with the paints so they could see her. She decided she wanted to do a bunch of different poses. So we had a little photo shoot. She decided all the poses, I just took the pictures.

Spring Fever

Spring fever has fully set in. It seems like all we have on our mind is getting to the beach and camping. It is a good thing the weather is warming up. The grass is turning green and the buds are opening on the trees. I can see spring on the way!! The first warm day we had Madisyn was right out there in her camping chair and snacks in hand of course. Who can camp without snacks? She came to me and said to come look at her shadow. She drew her shadow and was standing there. She did a pretty good job I think!

We packed a lunch on Sunday and spent a few hours at the park. The day was perfect, 70's and sunny. I even got a little tan. I am SO ready for a tan!
Madi playing with some new friends she found that day.

Eating the lunch we packed.

Our Little Madi Turns 4!

It is hard to believe Madisyn is already 4. The years seem to fly by faster and faster each year. Our little baby is gone and little lady is here.

We celebrated Madisyn's birthday a little early this year. Paul and Elaine came for a weekend visit so we had both sets of Grandma and Grandpa's over. She received all of her own baking things from Nana so her and Cheyann baked some great looking cupcakes.

All decked out and ready to bake!

All mixed and ready for the oven.

Isn't this the cutest face you have ever seen?

Decorating, and eating spoonfuls of frosting. Can you say
sugar rush?

Like I said, great looking cupcakes.

Of course helping do dishes and cleaning up.

These balloons sang Happy Birthday. We
heard the song over and over. Great idea
Mema, we love you!! They are still going strong!

Make a Wish!

Birthday dinner the night of her birthday and enjoying
more cake. A much smaller version this time.
