I Need a Vacation!!!

Why is it that the week before a vacation always moves so slow!!! This week is always torture. The clock never moves fast enough! We leave for NY on Sunday to spend the week up at the 1000 Islands with the Annable crew. The 3 of us are so excited!! GM is closed for 2 weeks so we always try to make it up there the 1st week. We haven't been up there the last couple years so it is past due for us. It is always so relaxing to be up there. Madi was just a baby when we were there last so I think this year will be really fun for her. She keeps talking about the islands. She doesn't even know what she has in store. She knows mema will be there so that is all that matters to her (sorry papa she loves you too). She told me that she NEEDS her mema. I shouldn't have said anything to her about this trip until it was time to leave because she is annoying me and it is only TUESDAY!!! "Are we leaving yet, are we leaving yet, are we leaving yet, is it time to go, when do we go to the islands, if i take a good nap are we leaving?" I hear that non-stop!!!! So I will keep watching the clock and anxiously await our much needed vacation.

Long Weekend

I had Friday and Monday off so I enjoyed a nice long weekend with Madi. It was another sunny warm weekend so we spent a lot of time outdoors!.

We spent Father's Day at my mom and dad's pool. They were out of town for the weekend so we packed a lunch and took over the pool. Madi didn't stop long for lunch. She is a swimming machine and is starting to really do well. I can't believe I didn't get pictures of her swimming. Oh well, at least you can see her eating.

Anniversary Weekend

So our anniversary weekend was awesome. We stayed at the 4 diamond hotel, Brown Hotel, in the heart of Louisville. This was the most beautiful hotel I think I have ever been in. The day was perfect. I had to get a couple pictures of the lobby because it took my breathe away!

5 Year Anniversary

So our 5 year anniversary is coming up this Saturday (June 7). I can't believe I have been married for 5 years already. I have to say, it feels longer than that. So we decided to do something really special this weekend to celebrate. Sean has it all planned and won't tell me what we are doing. I know we are going to Louisville Saturday to spend the afternoon and then getting a hotel and going out for dinner there. I don't know where we are staying or eating, but I am so excited. This is the 1st year since we have been married that we have really done it up for our anniversary. Yeah we go out to dinner each year, but this year we are splurging. I can't wait to see where we are staying. He keeps telling me that the hotel is amazing, 5 star hotel, 5 star restaurant. We decided we really deserved it this year. Our lives have been turned upside down the last 5 months. We lost a little bit of the connection in that time because of the stress of moving. So we thought it was time to go and really pamper ourselves and focus on the connection that has been tucked away. I can't work or do anything because I am so excited. I feel like a girl in high school again going on her first date. I have gone through my closet trying to find the perfect outfit, perfect PJs (HEHE). I can't wait to tell you all about it so stay tuned!!!

Bathing Beauty

We went camping this past weekend at Spring Mill State Park. That place is so beautiful. It was a picture perfect weekend. There is an Olympic size pool with a kiddie pool. Madisyn had a blast playing in the water. I had a blast lounging by the pool while the guys explored the 3 caves that are there. We will be spending a lot of time there this summer. Madisyn is my little model. Check out her pose on the 4th picture.
