Merry Christmas

The three of us spent Christmas day alone. It was the first year for both us that we have not been surrounded by family. It was a very quiet day for us. I made Monkey Bread for breakfast and we had a roast for dinner. It was nice family time, but just not the same without all of our family. They were all missed!! We spent the day unpacking all of Madi's toys. The way they package toys is insane!! Thanks to all of you who sent packages!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with our adopted family (Erin's family). We put cookies and milk out before the party knowing that it would be a late night. We are really going to miss the group of people in these pictures. Lee and Erin have become more than just friends to us. The night was very emotional.

Acting Funny Before Bed

Last night Madi was so full energy because she knew that she would be leaving today with Sean to go to nana and papa's house. She has been so excited! She was acting silly all night so here are a few pictures of the night.

DANCING: She put her piano on auto play and had the music blasting. She can dance!! You can tell by the last picture that she is really going at it. I was cracking up!

FUNNY GLASSES: She has these glasses with all of her dress-up clothes. She still looks cute even with those ugly glasses on. I walked into the living room and she had these glasses on Sienna. It was so funny. She just sat there with them on. That poor dog!!!

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

Isn't our Charlie Brown Christmas tree lovely? It is so cute! It is better than nothing. Madisyn is so excited for Santa to come to our house. I am not really sure where he is going to leave the presents.

Decorating Christmas Cookies

I have been bummed about not putting up a Christmas tree this year with us moving. For those of you that don't know, Sean has to start work before me now. Sean and Madi will be gone December 16th and will come home again for Christmas to get me moved down. So I have been trying to get a sense of Christmas in our house without the tree. We woke up this morning and it had snowed all night and the sun was shining. If felt like Christmas so we decided to make cookies. Madisyn only got through her 5 cookies that she baked by herself. She was so detailed on each one. We both really enjoyed ourselves.
