It is Time for #2

Ryan and Breanne stopped over to see us while we were in Midland Easter weekend so that we could meet little Caiden. Bree posted this picture on her blog and I just loved it. Ok, so I need another little one!!!! This picture gives me the itch even more. Why is it taking so long this time?? I didn't let him down the whole time they were there. Except for when Sean stole him from me, jerk! This little baby is so precious though! He looks so much like Collin.

Easter Weekend

We went back to our house Easter weekend to finish getting things packed. We have renters moving in May 1st!! Of course Lee and Erin came over. We miss the two of them so much!! Madisyn really loves them. Poor Erin, Madi is glued to her whenever they are over. They had fun coloring and having a dance party together, too cute!! Nice crown Erin!!! Madisyn is going to be our little musician. She loves to dance and sing.

Potty Trained

Finally, Madi is fully potty trained!!! She has gone 2-1/2 weeks with her big girl pants on and no accidents (including #2). It seems like as soon as she turned 3 she was ready! She has been waking up every morning dry so this weekend we let her go to bed with no pull-ups. She has not wet the bed yet. She has been doing so well. We are so proud of her!!! NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!!!!!! I am so excited.

Welcome Caiden

Madisyn's birthday party

Here are some pictures of Madi's party. I decided to make my own cake this year. I thought it turned out adorable. Next time I will just do a bigger butterfly because I thought it was so cute. The flower turned out much larger than I first expected, but was a big hit with the kids. Madisyn was so excited when she saw this cake. The kids did a treasure hunt and played pin the stem on the flower. I also posted, at the bottom, a few pictures of Madisyn on her Birthday day. She wanted it to be Christmas so she had to wear her reindeer PJs. What Madi wants she gets.

Happy Birthday Madisyn

I can't believe our little girl turns 3 today!! It seems like only yesterday I was laying in the hospital bed anxiously awaiting her arrival. I can still remember the emotions I felt when I saw her for the first time. She was (still is) perfect in every way. She brought so much joy to my life. She was born with thick black hair and big blue eyes. At 3 her eyes are still as big as ever with hair that lightens up each year.

She has turned into such a sweet little girl. She is very girly, but yet a tomboy in many other ways. She is a very courageous little girl who does not have fear when trying something new. She says that she is not my baby anymore, she is my big girl. I hate to see her grow, but enjoy watching every step she takes. She is still my little cuddle bug!! The older she gets the more I cherish those moments. I would rock her to sleep until she graduated high school if she would let me. For now, I will cherish each and every moment we have together.
